Affiliate Speedpay - It Just Makes Sense
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008
One of my new ventures this year is working with the team at Affiliate Speedpay. I have been given the opportunity to join their team and present Affiliate Speedpay to both poker affiliates as well as poker affiliate programs.
I am extremely excited about this product for many reason. A payment solution in the poker affiliate industry like Affiliate Speedpay is long overdue. It is my goal to make Affiliate Speedpay the standard for affiliate payments in our industry. There is really no reason for a poker affiliate program to NOT utilize this product.
If all the affiliate departments would adapt and begin using Affiliate Speedpay as their main payment processing method, it will seriously raise the bar on the level of professionalism in our industry. As poker affiliates, we are business people and that’s how we should be treated by our partners. There is no reason that we should have to be paid our commissions into players accounts. I know from personal expereince as a U.S. affiliate, it has become a headache each month trying to actually get my commissions into my bank account.
Many sites take weeks to send my checks after I request them. One room I get a check from, but then have to wait an additional couple weeks for the check to clear since it is drawn from a bank in London. Then there’s another room that has owed me money for a long time but claims to not have a way to pay me. Collecting commissions from our partners should not be a difficult task.
Affiliate Speedpay can alleviate these issues for the entire industry.
With Affiliate Speedpay, each affiliate receives their own personal bank account through FBME bank. This is a legitimate non U.S. bank account that you can also wire money in and out of. Each affiliate also receives a debit card that can be used throughout the world at any ATM machine with a $10,000 per day withdrawal limit. This means affiliates can finally access their payments the same day they are made.
The fees that the affiliate programs will pay to use the service are not going to be any more than they are already paying to send us checks via couriers after cashing out from our players accounts.
There is no question amongst affiliates that this is an awesome solution for us. WE however need to be the ones driving this change in the industry. Poker affiliate programs have no reason to change when they are currently paying us into players accounts and recirculating our earnings into rake. I encourage any of you who see the value in ASP and would like to see this in our industry to email your affiliate managers. Send a quick email and simply ask them to look into the product.
Don’t worry, I will be hard at work over the next few months working for all of us trying to get the rooms on board. By sending your AM’s an email or simply speaking with them about ASP, you will not only help me, but the entire industry. For any affiliate managers reading this, you can email me at jeremy AT pokeraffiliateprograms.com if you would like more information regarding Affiliate Speedpay.

I suppose an “About Me” page is where you would expect to read a third person professional write up on myself. Hmmm…. well that’s not really my style, so I’ll just go ahead and tell you “about me” in my own words.
