HR5767 Failed - But Ron Paul Is Good For Online Gambling Affiliates
June 25th, 2008 by Jeremy EnkeLast night we spoke on the Poker Affiliate Radio show in depth about the new bill Barney Franks is trying to pass titled H.R. 5767 also known as the Payment System Protection Act.
Unfortunately the bill was shot down today, but nonetheless Ron Paul made a great speech about how stupid our government is when it comes to it’s views about online gambling.
Regardless, nobody in our country including our glorious government knows how to deal with UIGEA act that was illegally put in place back in 2006.
Instead of me telling you about the hearing today, these are good links to read.

I suppose an “About Me” page is where you would expect to read a third person professional write up on myself. Hmmm…. well that’s not really my style, so I’ll just go ahead and tell you “about me” in my own words.

Ron Paul is the best candidate in the country for the President. It’s just to bad our political system will never allow him to get elected.

I am impressed on how straight forward Ron Paul is about everything in this video. He is a Republican but while others would worry about saving face, Ron Paul tells it like it is and doesn’t care about going with party lines with his speeches or decisions. This is what the US needs more of from both parties.

Well, at least something is happening. Its a step in the right direction really, and the fact that is didn’t lose by a huge ladn slide is kinda cool

Ron Paul is an exception to most politicians as he actually speaks from his heart and mind without reservation. He is not a man who regurgitates whatever his cronies and/or lobbyists want him to say. RJ is right on with his comment that “our political system will never allow him to get elected”. That’s because a vast majority of corrupt politicians who need lobbyist funds for their country clubs, yachts, and vacation homes, will never allow an truly honest and great American to lead this country. I’m not opposed to enjoying your hard earned money however you’d like, but I am opposed to our country’s legislation being grossly influenced by billion dollar companies rather than what is in our nation’s best interest. Time to get off the soap box but here’s a final thought. R.I.P. George Carlin…another great American who, like Ron Paul, spoke his mind without reservations.
