  • My PAP Radio Show Is Now Live

April 23rd, 2008 by Jeremy Enke

As many of you know I have wanted to do a radio show for PAP for quite a long time. Web 2.0 is all about creating an interactive community and having your members contribute and get to know each other better. I can’t think of a better way than doing a radio show.

So today I spent pretty much athe entire afternoon pulling my hair out and trying to adjust knobs and settings on a big mixer of which I know nothing about. At dinner with my wife, I actually told her “I don’t think this is going happen tonight.” Nonetheless I focused called and bothered ton of people through the computer, and tweaked the settings enough that we could go live.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the first show. We had a great audience, and awesome guests. I am already looking forward to next weeks show and growing the radio segment of the business to be a a staple of the PAP community. This will be the official PAP Radio show page. It’s not being promoted yet but you can always check back at this URL for podcasts, schedules, and updates. If you’d like to listen to the most recent beta podcast you can do so below bt clicking the image. Also please share your feedback or suggestions for the show next week.

      Hey J,

Great show! Noticed your guests sounded great, but you sounded a little like you were in a tunnel. Probably just a setting or something.

Also… not sure if you were planning to monetize it or add ads ever, but adding some breakers or quick 15 second ads to break up talk might be a good idea.

Otherwise great job and can’t wait to see where this goes as I think it will be pretty big if done right.

      Congrats on the first show!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Yea we are still working out a few adjustments on the sound from our mics. I think the callers sounded pretty good though.

And yes we will be monetizing the site with short ad spots during the commercials.

I forsee the radio show becoming very popular in the coming months.
