  • Still In California & The Most Popular PAP Thread Ever

February 20th, 2008 by Jeremy Enke

Well, I have extended my trip in Cali for an extra day. A few meetings came up that I really didn’t want to miss. Since partnering up with these guys at the beginning of the year, I really cannot express how impressed I am with the overall organization. I have always worked pretty much solo and on my own. However for years I always wondered what it would it would be like in a multi-million dollar internet companies office.

Well……now I get to experience it once a month first hand. It really is unlike anything I have ever seen. Being a key member in an internet company that is seeing massive growth and success is really a cool experience. It also doesn’t hurt that the main office in Southern California.

I will post some pics on the PAP Blog tomorrow.

On a quick side note, contrary to the shitty map widget on the bottom of this blog, there are actually a lot of readers and traffic here. That thing is not correct, and in the coming days I will do a re-design on this site.

I know everyone wants a statement about the FullTilt situation. This post at PAP has become the most popular post ever in the poker affiliate forums. I think this whole situation sucks and it’s probably the worst decision I have ever seen made in our industry. I have taken them off PAP as I cannot support them if these terms stick.

I also a made a public post requesting their CEO contact me. I am doubtful that he will, but I just wonder if he knows what the true long term repercussions of doing this really is. It amazes me that a program as successful as FullTilt would actually kill their program like this. And make no mistake, if this new 60 day policy is enforced, their affiliate department will see a major downswing in sign-ups, not to mention their reputation in the poker affiliate industry.

Many people want me to make a post totally ripping the program, but I do run a business, and personally I’d like to speak with their CEO before publishing something I can’t take back. Maybe I am just an optimist, but I would love to speak with the CEO of FullTilt and have him tell me how this is beneficial to ANY poker affiliate in the world.

I have removed FullTilt however from PAP for the time being until I can speak with someone who can give me a real explanation.

Would be great for you to get the CEO on a PAP conference call…I know it would be impossible…but???

Removing Fulltilt is a very classy and encouraging move JE! This is why you have remained one of the most powerful guys in the industry.

I have remained quite about this issue for the most part. I’ve seen many businesses outside of the internet make full blown blunders before and the results are always the same. They either wake up and remedy the issue, or they end up regretting it and end up struggling. Make no mistake, Billion dollar business or not you are always at risk of losing it all and there is always someone waiting for you to mess up. Time will tell..

Maybe you could get the CEO on your future radio show ;)

You reacted great JE regarding the Fulltilt issue. This is very proffesional of you, so if FTP CEO has any appreciations for affilites, he then has to talk to one of biggest people in affiliate inudstry.

The office looks pretty nice… I was expecting more, but still nice and clean.

As for FTP… all I can say is disappointing. Another obstacle, but we will continue on…. that thread is almost at 10k views… damn!
