I Don’t Miss Corporate America Or My Old Cubicle
November 5th, 2007 by Jeremy EnkeYes at one time in my life I did have my very own cubicle. This song below made me realize today how much I don’t miss being in the real world. Although I do miss the social interaction, I don’t miss working for idiots and pretending to be doing something productive when I was really just surfing porn or playing online poker from a proxy.
At least now when I am getting nothing done, I can’t get fired or “written up”.

I suppose an “About Me” page is where you would expect to read a third person professional write up on myself. Hmmm…. well that’s not really my style, so I’ll just go ahead and tell you “about me” in my own words.

LOL…reminds me of my job. By “social interaction” do you mean “constant backstabbing”?

Yea I was back stabbed a few times in the real world. Although I suppose working in online gambling, the odds of getting fuc* are just as good.
I do miss working in an office directly with other people however. Maybe I need to get a couple 21 year old female interns to work out of my home office to keep me company.

True. I guess the social aspects really depend on where you are working. At my job most of the people are 40+ with families, so from a social aspect it sucks pretty bad. Also, don’t forget to post pics/videos of the hiring process if you do get those 21year old interns

I am staring at cubicle walls as I write this. It feels like I am in hell.
Although no one monitors our internet activity, which allowed me to start my website–the first step in achieving a non-cubicle work space

LOL…I can’t wait for the day when my boss pulls my internet activity and sees I spend 7 of the 8 hours I work on non-work related websites. That is when I will say, “I told you I had nothing to do”.

“Maybe I need to get a couple 21 year old female interns to work out of my home office to keep me company.” hahaha one day I hope I have the money for this

“And I hate it that’s the truth.” lol

LOL - too funny. If you need help with the interns, lemme know man..
I’ve never had a “cube”, but I have had an office.. If you have a “cube” you should find another job.. Unless you’re a tele-marketer. Then you should just shoot yourself.
